🍂 Signature Events & Festivities

  • Sisters Harvest Faire — Oct 11–12, 2025
This long-standing fall tradition transforms downtown Main Avenue (between Larch & Fir) into a vibrant artisan marketplace. ✔️ Tips for Enjoying October in Sisters

  • Early arrival recommended — Especially for the Harvest Faire, which draws large crowds (vendors sometimes report being too busy to let visitors “pause and sniff” products)(The Nugget Newspaper)

  • Double-check times & venues — Event listings may shift, so confirm via the event host or ExploreSisters / Sisters Chamber before heading out.

  • Layer up for changeable weather — Mornings and evenings can be chilly; mid-day might warm up nicely for walking downtown or strolling between venues.

  • Mix in outdoor adventure — With fall colors in full display, pair event outings with a hike or scenic drive in the Sisters area. (Note: some natural attractions like Skylight Cave are closed after mid-September due to bat hibernation.(en.wikipedia.org))
